I used to tell
My college class
“I am an ignorant
Man. I know
Almost
Nothing
About almost
Everything. My only
Area of knowledge
Is a bit of history.”
Then I would
Look up
And
Away saying,
“And, this would
Make you ...
What?”
They would
Laugh and agree
They had a bit
Yet to learn.
A revaluation
At nineteen.
