All come together but long ago
A thousand BC herding horses
Sheep goats cattle westward
Along the line where the pine
Taiga meets the grassy plain
All the way to Norway along
With the Finno-Ugrian
Language now spoken
In Finland and from
Norway they sailed
West to the Irish
Coast mixing
Then taking
The Sea
Isles settling
In western Scotland
Then as Menzies going
To the Carolinas 1750
And on to the Ohio
River down to
Southern
Illinois.

An eye-opener
Strange to realize
Just who we really are.
