Pandemic killed
50 million people
Around the world but
On American Samoa no
One died because quarantine
Isolated them while on the New
Zealand run half of Samoa 22%
Died of the pandemic because
There was no quarantine and
I muse on this lesson in our
Present pandemic and I
Wonder why China did
Not quarantine in time
Or the USA or almost
Any country since
Quarantine is a
Hindrance to
Travel and
Trade so
We hold
Profits
Higher than
Human lives and
If those in charge do
Not enforce isolation then
When anyone weakened
By age poor physical
Condition and the
Complications
Of maladies
Has died
Herd
Immunity
Will spare
The other 78%
Of us and let trade
And travel continue in
Even greater volumes
Because it seems
The business of
America is
Business
Except
1918
Samoa
Where no
One died under
American quarantine.
