On the good side
Of magic when the night
Terrors move in the shadows
Curtains sway wood creaks then
Is the time to whisper perhaps
Another time would be more
Convenient we could ... can
Put this off for awhile
Longer and faint as
A mouse’s tread
Death giggles
Amused at
The lack
Of terror a
Cool and deliberate
Manner of two old friends
Meeting again briefly
Then parting but
Both aware a
