Good character
Like virtue is its own
Reward and essential
To each person but most
Essential to a leader military
Or political as the pressures on
Them will cause them to break
Down before our eyes under
Pressures we can not even
Imagine which is painful
To watch since power
Will not allow them
To let go and only
Crushing defeat
Will wrench the
Power from
Their weak
Hands
Leaving
Them giddy
Confused grasping
For someone to blame
Unaware their career is
Already dead and gone as
Events and power pass on to
Others whose character may
Allow them to bear a burden
Few can carry long as it
Corrupts even the best
Character in time as
Each rationalizes
Their deeds and
Overlooks in
Themselves
What they
Despise
In the
Weak of
Heart but
Carry in their
Own character.
A test for character
For a job applicant is
To wait until they use the
Restroom then check to see
If they cleaned up after them
Selves or left a mess for others.
Another way is to watch how they
Treat a waitress to see if they’ll
Treat the person with respect
Or talk down to them which
In both cases shows their
Character or lack of it
As they either see
Themself as a
Part of their
Society or
Apart &
Above
Not
Realizing
To do good
To others is to
Help ourself since
We are all part of the
Same family of all
Sentient beings
Benefiting from
What we do to
Help each
Other.
