Star

She is my
Morning star
High bright twinkling
In an azure sky shining
Between sun and moon above,
She is my
Evening star
First to appear
As skies darken
Visible as blue turns
To black velvet but more
Constant than the fickle moon,
She is my
Companion
To whom I may
Depend to shed
A bit of light for me a
Welcome second opinion
She shines silver even in the
Fogs clouds rain never too
Far from my thoughts
And always first
To shine a way
To where I
Want to
Be.
