Party over Patriotism

We are all putting our
Political party over
Patriotism,
Our first political loyalty
Should be to the U.S.
Constitution.
No political party puts country
Over their own selfish
Machinations to
Pander to
This or that
Special interest.
Restore Ike’s simpler tax code
That kept the rich from
Becoming super rich
At the expense of
Our precious middle class.
Wake up and smell the
Greed, nepotism and
Corruption in ALL
Political parties,
Not just the other one.
Return to a nation based
On civic virtue and bring
Back the second-highest
Vote winner in the electoral
College being VP.
Add two years to the terms
Of representatives, senators
And presidents and limit
Them to only
One term for each.
Make lobbying a crime and
Beat the money changer
Corporations out of our
National temple and
Restore authority and
Dignity to our
Government.
