The act of sharing
Between good friends,
Brings us together.
A meal,
A trip,
A night,
We each gain more
Than we expend.
We share ourselves
And delight the better
Angels of our nature.
Trust allows us the
Intimacy required
To open our
Hearts to one
Another.
We share
Ourselves,
Though it may cost,
A bite or two of a
Delicious
Dessert.
