Journey

We are all on a great
Journey,
On many levels we set out
To find something honorable
To make us complete.
Some get no further
Than to dream,
Others trek across
Deserts, wet or dry,
Mountains of stone
Or water.
Some find their heart’s
Delight, others are content
To have tried their best.
Even to attempt such a journey
Is an honorable achievement.
To attempt it more than
Once, is to hope beyond
Reason, do not let that
Keep you from your quest.
Just beyond the horizon
Is your heart’s delight,
Sandy shores and
South Seas.
