Germany
Or Trump’s
America all lost
Sight of doing right.
Each time people
Choose head
Over heart
They
Turn cruel
Heartless to
The suffering of
Others selfish to the
Point of self-harm
To their own kith
And kin blind
To common
Sense or
Ethics.
Common
Sense is better
The sensibility to
Some cult leader
Whose words
Play to the
Worst of
Ourself.
