Pay Grade

It is above my pay
Grade to say why
Folks believe the
Most bald-faced
Lies and silly
Exaggerations.
Though, common
Sense says you
Can’t fix stupid.
I sure hope
Ignorance washes
Out in the hard rain
That’s gonna fall.
