Belief

Most of us
Believe in the
American dream
Of a better life for
All and opportunity
Based on hard work
Education and family
But the two political
Conventions were
Just propaganda
Left or right both
Terrifyingly out
Of touch with
Americans
Who want
Bitter or
Worse
Extirpated
From American
Presidential Elections
And a stop to the half-truths
And failures to take action
Against rioters vandals
And arsonists attacks
On property and a
Stop to violence
Without motive
In policing our
Streets but
Most of all
To return
Honor
In America.
The only way
To do this is to
Break up the big
News media and go
Back to local news by
Cities not national each
Local media owned locally
With no mass media giants
Like FOX, CNN or any other.
Bring back newspapers by
Cities and TV stations to
Local ownership so no
National or multi
National power
Can poison
US news
Anymore.
