Complicit

The three police
Officers who failed
To stop the murder of
An arrested suspect are
Complicit in that man’s death.
Likewise, protestors who failed to
Stop the looting or destruction
Of private property are just
As complicit and like the
Three officers should
Be punished or else
We allow lawless
Destruction of
Our middle
Class on
Which
Our
Peace
Prosperity
And future are
Primarily dependent.
We can survive the loss
Of the poor and rich but we
Need a middle class to be America.
