Proportion

A sense of proportion
Along with good taste allows
Us to instantly know what is gauche
And what sublime art which is to
Say all beauty is in the eye of
The beholder but some art
Ain’t more than a waste
Of space all too often
At public expense
To fill a blank
Space on a
Wall or a
Brain of
Some
One
Whose
Degree in
Interior decorating
Has given them a delusion
Of proportion which can
Only be learned at a
Mother’s care and
Only if she has
Been trained
As a child
To judge
What is
Art or
In good
Taste and
What is only
Space filler faux.
Simplicity is elegance.
Never guild the Lilly or fill
Silence just to have sound.
Less is almost always more.
A raised voice indicates lowered
IQ and a brag an indication of
Some lack of character too
Embarrassing to risk a
Subtle comment on
As such a person
Is more focused
On their own
Voice than
Beauty
Worth
Art
Much like
This poem out
Of all proportion
As, what do I know.
