Without

Passion is desire without
Reason or logic,
Love seems to
Override the
Difference though
Passion does not
Need love for fuel
To stoke its fire.
Passion burns white
Hot and flares up
Though long buried,
Love can be sudden
But burns a softer
Yellow and gently
Overwhelms us.
Of the two,
I think each
An experience
Best savored
On its own
Terms.
