Faith

Morals are what
We are told is
Right or wrong,
Ethics are what we
Know in our hearts
Is right or wrong.
Each society and
Sub-society has
Its own morals,
Ethics transcends
Morals and is
World wide,
Perhaps more.
It is always wrong
To do harm for
No reason other
Than selfishness.
I have called
Transcendentalism
Truth without proof,
And yet I concur
With John Muir
That the clearest
Way into the
Universe is through
A forest glade.
If all truth is
Relative to the
Observer,
Does it come
Down to
Faith?
